Congratulations on your team earning a berth to the 2026 ICSA Team Race National Championships. Tulane is excited to be hosting these events featuring the finest collegiate team race teams in the nation. We of course would like to thank our co-hosts, Southern Yacht Club and Community Sailing New Orleans. Here is some important information to pass along to your teams and support staffs, school administrators, alumni, parents, and friends:
Daily Arrival - Please do not arrive before 8:45am each day
Parking - Each team will have 2 parking spaces with signs designating where they may park. Any additional parking is on a first come-first served basis. Teams should not drop off, nor park inside the Southern Yacht Club designated parking lot. The Southern Yacht Club parking lot is for members only, please pass this information along to your parents and anyone else associated with your programs.
Southern Yacht Club - The Southern Yacht Club has graciously opened their doors for this event.
-Team Set-up: There will be designated team tables on the ground floor of the yacht club. All team gear shall be stored at your designated table.
-Locker Rooms: On the second floor is where both men’s and women’s locker rooms are located. Teams are encouraged to use these locker rooms for changing, but gear and personal items may not be stored here.
-Restrooms: Additional restrooms are located outside the pool area near the playground
-Spectators: Parents and spectators are encouraged to enjoy the racing from the 3rd floor restaurant and bar. Guest/event accounts may be setup at the reception desk on the 2nd floor of Southern Yacht Club. No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the clubhouse
-Restricted area for competitors/coaches: Competitors and Coaches are not allowed on the 3rd floor.
Community Sailing New Orleans-CSNO is home to the fleet of Zim 420Es
-Access: Please only use the ground floor double doors to access the inside of the building. Do NOT use the outside stairwell as this goes into offices and classrooms.
-Restrooms: There are restrooms on the second floor of the building
-reminder that the fenced in area of CSNO is considered part of the “Field of Play”
“Field of Play”-the ICSA requests that the host provide the competitors and coaches with an area that is considered the “Field of Play.” These areas are only for competitors, coaches, and regatta officials. Competitors, coaches, and regatta officials must all display their credentials while in the Field of Play unless they are in their sailing gear.
These field of play areas include: The team table area beneath Southern Yacht Club, the rotation docks and boat yard, Community Sailing New Orleans, and the gated area of the Municipal Yacht Harbor.
